DocsBarcelona Festival 2024

At DocsBarcelona Festival Edition 2024, Immersive Oasis team has officially presented the 360º documentary “El Camín de los Santuarios”, a pioneering project in the field of immersive feature documentaries. It had been an honor to show it for the first time at the festival alongside other talented professionals in the industry.

Our stand was located in the innovation area of the festival, and the team was on hand throughout the two days to welcome visitors who wanted to try out the Virtual Reality headset to watch our unique documentary. Everyone was enjoying it and a lot of positive feedback was received gladly.

“It’s strange, how you can immerse yourself in a story told by someone else.”

“El Camín de los Santuarios”

Camín de los santuarios is the first immersive feature-length documentary. It is a project that combines past and present in one of Asturias’ most emblematic cultural routes. It offers insights into the passage of time since the Middle Ages, landscapes, culture, and secrets of our history that challenge traditional narratives.

The Immersive Oasis team had been working on this project for a considerable period of time, and it is thanks to the support and collaboration of every single person involved that it has been possible to reach this point.

A special mention goes to Enol Villamor, the video and media department director at Immersive Oasis, for his unwavering dedication and leadership; he was the driving force behind this project.

The attendance to the festival was made possible thanks to the introduction of INMERSIVAˣᴿ to this festival and the amazing attention of Júlia Parés Fabrellas.

“This is my story….This is the story of Camín….”
