The municipality of Aller aims to boost its tourist appeal by highlighting its natural, cultural, and sporting wealth. This initiative will position Aller as an attractive, modern, and accessible destination, drawing new tourists.
The City Hall of Aller is the administrative entity that governs the municipality of Aller, located in the autonomous community of Asturias, Spain. In recent decades, tourism has gained importance due to the rich biodiversity and cultural heritage of the municipality.
The project consists of a promotional video filmed with 360º technology, designed to be viewed on Virtual Reality devices at fairs, events, and organized meetings. Through this immersive experience, users can explore the most iconic scenes of Aller, such as the Fuentes de Invierno ski resort, hiking and cycling routes, and the historical monuments of the municipality.
The 360º technology adds great value to the project, allowing viewers to immerse themselves in the landscapes and explore the destination from different angles. Additionally, this tool promotes accessible tourism by enabling people with reduced mobility or travel difficulties to discover hidden spots in Aller.
The production process of a 360º video involves several key steps. First, a detailed plan is created to define the points of interest and visual routes that best represent the destination’s identity. Next, filming is carried out with specialized cameras, ensuring proper lighting, framing that maximizes the sense of immersion, and minimizes potential motion sickness.
