This project consists of an Extended Reality (XR) application that, using Virtual Reality (VR), offers an innovative therapeutic experience.

The application presents immersive virtual scenarios that create a relaxing and engaging experience. The platform consists of four different mini-games with different levels of difficulty, designed to encourage movement in a dynamic and progressive way. For example, an upper body session where you have to perform slight horizontal or vertical movements to achieve the set goal. This experience adapts to each user’s abilities, providing moments of peace and enjoyment wherever they are.

Therapeutic Benefits

This solution allows patients to improve their motor skills through the following factors:

Distraction: immersive and calming environments that reduce stress, anxiety and the sensation of pain.

Focus: interactive mini-games with guided instruction, designed to make therapy more engaging and encourage movement.

Accessibility: sessions tailored to each patient’s needs, with data collection to optimise treatment plans.

Commitment to Innovation in Health

The development of technological solutions applied to healthcare is a priority for Immersive Oasis. As technology advances, the possibilities of Extended Reality in therapies continue to grow, driven by the work of professionals seeking new ways to assist patients.

The application was showcased at the Immersive Oasis stand during the event “CECOEC Meeting: Active Ageing, Care, and Innovation” (2024), where it generated significant interest for its innovative approach and contribution to improving quality of life.
